FoBPS Annual General Meeting
We need to hold an annual general meeting as part of the rules of being a charity. This year we are trying to do it virtually. Above is a video slideshow letting you know what we've been up to and how to get involved.
FOBPS is a charity set up to enrich the learning environment of the children at Bardsey Primary School. Our committee is a band of willing volunteers who meet approximately half termly to come up with ideas to raise money. They also ask the senior leaders at school to identify the best ways to spend the money and get parents working to make these things happen. It's really satisfying seeing the children benefit.
We really need more support this year. Our committee is depleted in numbers and without more people we cannot actually make decisions, including authorising passing money to school. Emma Wren, who has served as chair for the past 5 years has stepped down along with Sam Watson and Richard Hogarth and so it's a really great time to get involved and make a real difference to all our children.
If you would like to put yourself forward then please get in touch and we will invite you along to our next meeting to see what you think. We are a friendly bunch!
