Bardsey Bossing Sports

Bardsey have shown they have an abundance of talent in the school when it comes to sport. Firstly, a mixed team of cricketers from Years 5 and 6 (with Jack from Year 3) competed in the Sports Partnership u11's Kwik Cricket Finals at Wetherby winning all the games and qualifying for the city finals. Last Wednesday they returned to the City Finals, again winning all the games and qualifying to represnt Leeds in the West Yorkshire Games Finals at Weetwords Sports Ground on June 17th. An excellent achievement all round - well done everyone!

We also have some brilliant Year 2 skippers who competed in the skipping festival at Wetherby High school last Thursday. They showed that all the hard work practising has paid off as they came 1st, beating 4 other schools to move onto the finals with a special trip to Leeds Beckett University on July 4th - another excellent achievement by all Year 2! Good luck at the finals.
