We had a great Pancake Day!

The School council worked hard this morning serving their peers with pancakes and sweet toppings they raised nearly £200.

Pancake Day marks the day before the Christian festival of Lent. One of the many traditions of Lent is to fast for six weeks before Easter. On Shrove Tuesday, people had to use up all the rich foods, as they were not allowed to eat them for the next six weeks.

The world's largest pancake was made in Manchester in 1994. It had a diameter of more than 15 metres and was 2.5 cm deep.

Thank you to everyone who supported this event!
